| Gilliam & Company: Gilliam & Company is a strategic planning consultation company, specializing in retailing and consumer products. Gilliam also publishes a popular industry publication, “Viewpoint”. Their site needed to showcase their impressive clients, advertise their services, and house their blog as well as provide a login for Viewpoint subscribers. 3Rings produced the site architecture, working closely with the designers to create a clean user interface. 3Rings’ team provided all back end programming, with secure login functionality, and to make the architecture a well-functioning reality.
tii: tii Network Technologies provides the telecommunications industry with management products and network protection tools. They needed a website to showcase their company to investors, share their industry knowledge, and to be used as a tool that would allow their sales people to develop pitches anywhere, anytime, using an online database of Product Spec Sheets on their product line. 3Rings developed an extensive database tool to enable their sales people to synch up with any changes and new additions to the product database and dynamically create and access their Product Spec Sheets in Acrobat (.pdf) form, on the fly. This tool also dynamically generated product web pages for their site. Clinton Kelly: Lifestyle expert, author, and television personality Clinton Kelly, of The Learning Channel’s “What Not to Wear”, needed to strengthen his online presence. 3Rings Media designed his new website from the ground up, and provided Internet Marketing services, ensuring favorable placement in organic search results. His site was created using Flash, merging sound and image to create a unique home for this unique personality. Providing Clinton with a unique looking home-on-the-web was only one of the challenges. After the first month his site averaged only 2,220 unique visitors. As a result of 3Rings’ efforts in Internet marketing, eleven months later his site was averaging 13,457 unique monthly visitors. Gail Sheehy: Gail Sheehy, author of numerous bestselling books including “Passages”, “Sex and the Seasoned Woman”, “Middletown, America”, “Hilary’s Choice” and many more, asked 3Rings to create a website which would open a channel of communications between her and people interested in her work.. In addition to web design and video production and post-production services, 3Rings applied Internet Marketing strategies to gailsheehy.com and saw her monthly referrals via organic search on Yahoo! Rise by over 513%. The Useful: Affiliate marketing giant TheUseful turned to 3Rings to help them ‘start the conversation’ by conveying their complex message in a visually clear manner. Seasoned Womans Network: Author Gail Sheehy wanted to create a place for women over 45 (seasoned women) to share their thoughts and feelings relating to their time and place in life. Join the Conversation! RKL Productions: Writer/Director/Producer Richard Lehman has been responsible for many of those catchy television and radio spots that have been stuck in your mind for years. By visiting the website created for him by 3Rings Media, you can, once again, experience that catchy Sleepy’s jingle. Auritt: Auritt is a virtual “one-stop-shop” for video and audio promotion in the consumer, healthcare, food, entertainment, sports, education and publishing industries. Their site needed a complete design and information architecture overhaul. We designed their site to highlight the breadth and depth of their service offerings, and convey the verve with which they approach every project. Granular Solutions: Internet Marketing icon Holly Preuss had spent 10 years in project management, technology and marketing positions for numerous Fortune 500 companies and Top 10 Internet Retailers. When she decided to hang out her shingle as a consultant she contacted 3Rings Media to help develop her web presence – Granular Solutions. Peter’s Vein to Vein Game: A fun game devised to ‘edu-tain’ children with immune deficiencies, and their parents, about plasma-derived medication, it was part of a larger CD-ROM and web-based initiative to demonstrate the high level of safety and quality that the manufacturer took when developing these products. QTopic User Demo: This Step-By-Step software demonstration tool takes the viewer through the process of generating a survey. Palymyra Electronic Press Kit: Brooklyn-based indie rock band Palmyra wanted an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) to announce the release of their debut album Mis-En-Scene. Using Flash, 3 Rings created a stunning EPK full of engaging sound and movement. Viewers can download a press release, flyer, and image and can also listen to three of the band’s songs. |

New York Rangers: “New York Rangers Fan Appreciation DVD” The New York Rangers’ “thank you” to their fans, given out at the beginning of the 2007 season. Features include a tribute to “The Captain” Mark Messier, profiles of new recruits, “Best of the Blue Shirts”, a 20th anniversary celebration of Rangers commentators Sam and JD and more. ShowTime/RCN/United Nations: “What’s Going On: Breaking The Cycle of Violence In Northern Ireland” Narrated by Meg Ryan and Ronan Tynan, this documentary provides insight into the lives of four young people growing up in the midst of conflict, intolerance and segregation in today’s Northern Ireland. Olympia Steel Buildings: Olympia Steel Buildings had produced an informative video to highlight their many product offerings. The information was for distribution at trade shows around the country. The final product was also to used as a mailer and sales tool for their sales force. 3Rings Media was retained to help organize the content and determine the most widely viewable way to distribute in terms of technology. We decided to produce a DVD with an easy to navigate front end using a complex back end. 3Rings also provided replication services in quantities of over 60,000. Triage Entertainment: “Start Punching with Derek Panza” The Ultimate Basic Boxing Instruction & Workout program. eClips – Devries Public Relations: Devries Public Relations wanted us to produce a three-minute Media Highlights Reel to support a campaign they were involved in with one of their pharmaceutical clients. The reel was to be duplicated onto VHS tapes which would accompany individual (approximately) 600-page books of printed media clippings. This strategy was challenging in that the books were costly to produce and weighed close to 20 pounds each. In addition, to view the Media Highlights Reel, there had to be a VHS player in the recipient’s office. We suggested putting a digital video version of the Media Highlights Reel on a CD-ROM which could also contain a searchable .pdf with all the existing data they wished to distribute. The suggestion was well received by all. The result can be seen by clicking here. The same can be achieved using memory sticks – or other portable media – and online. Lancome: Not only did Lancome’s 2005 Season Opener represent a high standard in video production and programming but, to our knowledge, was also the first time full-screen Windows Media Video was able to be played from a CD-ROM at 30 frames per second. Unfortunately we cannot show the demo on our site because it was programmed specifically for Windows CD-ROM only, but here are images taken from the project. |

Internet MarketingGetting eyes on your content or product is the key to turning your website into a successful business tool. Internet marketing is, by far, the most cost-effective way to accomplish this. Your potential customers are smarter than ever. You have to level with them and sometimes provide them with a platform. They are jaded by traditional marketing campaigns and consider them to be SPAM. Let’s face it, what do you do when you receive a direct mail piece? Pour over it with rapt interest or add it to the recycling bin? What do you do when a commercial airs in the middle of your favorite TV show? Bask in the blue glow pouring over you or go make a sandwich? Traditional mass media marketing campaigns are still a viable means of getting your message across, but with what is considered a successful response rate of 1%, you have to spend significant bucks to make back your investment. Internet Marketing costs a fraction of a traditional marketing campaign, but more importantly, allows people to easily ‘discover’ you, which is by far the most effective marketing you can do. It’s easy to track visitors, their habits, what keywords they used to find you and an almost unlimited number of metrics indicating trends in your business. In addition to achieving increased traffic and sales, discretion and confidentiality are central to the business philosophy at 3Rings Media. While the cases we share here are real in all aspects, the client names have been intentionally omitted out of respect for this trust and confidentiality. |
